Schedule of academic and athletic buildings on campus with card access capabilities. (updated October 5, 2020)

• Community Access: Everyone with a Rensselaer ID will be able to swipe and access building during the time zone (see below). Outside of the community access time zone the reader will return to “locked/closed” mode.
• Unlocked: Reader is green lit and you can open door without an ID card. After the unlocked time zone the reader will return to “locked/closed” mode.
• Locked/Closed: Community access is turned off and only people with special access can get in via their Rensselaer ID.

Note: If you need special access to enter a building outside of a community access time zone, please contact your professor, supervisor or building coordinator who is familiar with the access control approval process. Public Safety can not grant access without following the approval process. If your ID card is denying you access during a community access time zone, contact DPSAccessControl@rpi.edu.
